Carl Eugene Griswold was born May 07, 1963 to the union of Charlie L. and Louisa Griswold in Kansas City, MO. He was the youngest of six siblings. He was preceded in transition by both parents, two brothers Verlin D. Griswold, Benoris Griswold, sister Betty Jean Griswold, son Terrell D. Griswold, step-daughter Yolanda Shurn, niece LaSonya Griswold, a very special niece Tina Griswold and a loving fiance’ Pamela Amos.  He was educated in the Kansas City School District graduating from Paseo High School. He received his degree in Culinary Arts and also attended Devry University. He received technical training in auto mechanics, heating and cooling, and electrical. He was mechanically inclined and many depended on him for home repairs. He was a master at fixing things.  Carl loved life and family. He enjoyed dancing, bowling, traveling and known for his skills in the kitchen.  He was an awesome dad to his sons Terrell and Tevin. He enjoyed being a step-dad, grandfather and step-grandfather. Although Carl was an uncle to many nieces and nephews he grew up like a brother to some and a cousin to others.  We all loved Carl (Carleone, Unc, Baby Brother, Griz, or Charlie as he was affectionately known as ) he will be forever loved and messed.  Forever cherishing his memories are; son Tevin D. Griswold; sisters, Norma J. Mathis (Walter), Velma L. Griswold; grandchildren, A’Liyah L. Griswold, Avi’Onna L. Griswold, Avi’Arre L. Griswold; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
