Steve Anthony Freeman, Sr. was born August 18, 1963 in Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother, Leola Freeman and three brothers; Arthur Smith, Larry Freeman, and Edward Freeman. He attended KCMO public schools and received his GED. Steve enlisted in the US Army and served his country honorably. He loved his children, wife, and all of his family. He enjoyed cooking both personally and professionally. Steve departed this earth on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Sarah, three daughters; Stephanie, Stevye (Breauna) of McDonough, GA, and Serina of Kansas City; one son, Steve Jr. of Kansas City and one grandson, Christian (CJ) of McDonough, GA; one sister Rozie Anderson; one brother Kenneth Smith both of Kansas City and a host of aunts and uncles. 

To Dad, I love you. He was a good dad. We had lots of fun together. He did lots of stuff for me, Jr., mom, and other people. I miss him every time I look at the sky. I never will forget him. He makes the best food. Love, Serina
