Davis Charles Pic Front.jpg

DAVIS LEE CHARLES was born on September 25, 1950 to LC and Della L. Jackson-Charles in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from St. Louis Job Corps, he married Cora Randle-Charles and one child was born into this union. Davis was proceeded in death by his father LC Charles, maternal grandparents Bertha & George Jackson, granddaughter Tyesha Johnson, his aunt Stella Turks, and  his cousin Louis Harris, all of Plain Dealing, Louisiana. While living here in Kansas City, he had become to be affectionately known as "DIRTY DAVE". To know “DIRTY DAVE” was to love him!! He was a jack of all trades. There wasn’t too much Davis couldn't do. He helped build many houses, professional concrete layer, but Carpentry is where his skills shined the most. We are 100% sure that his house has been built for him in Heaven exactly the way he wants it. He was well known and loved by many from Missouri all the way to Louisiana. It saddens our hearts that his time for departure has come, but we are grateful for the time we were granted to spend with him.  He will be greatly missed. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Cora Randle-Charles; mother Della L Jackson-Charles; two daughters Mary L Randle and Wynetta Robinson; two Sisters Stella Anderson and Adrienne Rancher; three brothers Anthony Rancher, Ronald Rancher, and Michael Rancher; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a very special nephew Edward "Lamont" Charles; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. We will celebrate the life of Davis Lee Charles on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at The U Church 7005 E 102nd Street KCMO 64134. Visitation 10-11 Service at 11.  Private Disposition
