Donald Eugene Steward, Sr. “Duck” was a lifetime resident of Kansas City, MO. He was the first of eight children by Herman and Gertrude (Lark) Steward. He attended grade school at D.A. Holmes Elementary and W.W. Yates Elementary. He then attended Manual High School where he went up until his senior year. Donald also participated in football and basketball but was mainly known for this exceptional boxing skills fighting for Bubbles Klice in the KC Golden Gloves where he held the lightweight and Jr. Welter Weight titles for several years. He married Beverly Abrams in the 1960’s. Before getting divorced in 1970 later to marry Latonya Steward who proceded him in death. Also, preceding him in death were his mother and father, two brothers: Ronald Eugene Steward and Allen Steward, nephews: Martice L. Steward, Keyon L Steward, Wayne Keith Steward, Jr, nieces: Alida Marie Porter, Gloria Evette Steward, and a host of other family members. Donald leaves to cherish his memories his four children: Donald Steward, Jr., Donald Steward, II, Natasha R. Steward Ellen, and Marty Steward, three sisters: Ruby G. Denver Steward, Herling M. Williams, two brothers: Michael Earl Steward and Wayne Keith Steward, Sr all of Kansas City. The celebration for DONALD "DUCK" STEWARD, SR was held at Community Fellowship Church 3838 Cleaver II Blvd, KCMO on Saturday, September 22, 2018 visitation 9-10 service at 10. Burial XII Gates Memorial Gardens
